Hyperliquid Strategies' board has authorized a $30 million stock repurchase program, targeting its outstanding common shares over the next 12 months. The buybacks will occur via open market transactions, contingent on market conditions and regulatory requirements.

CEO David Schamis framed the move as a capital efficiency play to amplify shareholder exposure to HYPE, the native token of Hyperliquid's ecosystem. "We're deploying treasury resources to maximize per-share HYPE alignment," Schamis stated, emphasizing disciplined execution over rigid targets.

The initiative reflects growing institutional sophistication in crypto-native capital allocation. Unlike traditional buybacks aimed solely at EPS accretion, Hyperliquid's program explicitly ties corporate actions to token ecosystem growth—a hybrid model gaining traction among Web3 enterprises.
